Chalk Cartel is so proud to have sponsored The Arch Project Hawaii’s event last night. This non-profit organization hosted a Reel Rock 12 event raffle with 100% of proceeds going towards supporting their annual Thanksgiving Feed the Homeless event. This year they raised over $5,000 to provide Thanksgiving meals, hygiene and comfort items for Hawaii’s houseless population.
Did you attend Color the Crag with Brothers of Climbing and Brown Girls Climb? If you did, you probably took home a free sample of Chalk Cartel chalk after a day of climbing at Alabama’s Horse Pens 40. Everyone involved was there to enjoy a day outside and support diversity outdoors.
Climbers at the 3rd Annual Joe’s Valley Bouldering Festival enjoyed free Chalk Cartel sample bags, plus Quarter bags and Kilos were awarded as prizes at this awesome event in Utah that included everything from climbing clinics to cowboy games!
Chalk Cartel was proud to support the Rifle Climbers’ Coalition’s “Rendez-Spew”, an athletic competition that includes climbing, trail running and biking, plus a party, area clean-up and fund-raising event. http://www.rifleclimbers.org/
July took the Chalk Cartel team to the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, where we were able to introduce climbers and retail buyers to the new brand with the kick-ass support of Mad Rock Climbing. As Chalk Cartel’s current biggest prize sponsor, Mad Rock welcomed us into their booth and filled their chalk buckets with our chalk to be enjoyed by the many climbers who stopped by to test their skills on the Treadwall.
Climbers had one last chance to pick up some free sample bags at the Psicobloc Masters Series, the infamous deep water soloing competition held over the outdoor pool at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City.
Our guerrilla marketing campaign was a success at the USA Climbing Youth Divisional Championships, where we distributed large quantities of Guerrilla Grind sample bags to competitors and spectators at several event locations.
Chalk Cartel kicked off the season in May at the Climbing Wall Association’s 2017 Summit in Loveland, CO by formally announcing the brand launch and giving away over 1,000 2-oz sample bags of Guerrilla Grind at the Futurist Climbing booth. The product was very well received – people are excited to see a new rock climbing chalk product hit the market!
